I thought this radio was a great deal! I was wrong..I bought it less than a year ago and had it installed by Best Buy. Took it to back to Best Buy today after my radio stations stopped working. The auxilary cable would play sound from my Ipod and CD's would play music, but the unit could never find satellite for radio stations. The service technician informed me that my actual radio was to fault, not the wiring. Now I am left to spend another $100 on a Kenwood radio that I should have gotten in the first place!

After many choices of car stereos to choose from, I decided to go with this one. For one thing, the price was really good, second, I liked the front built in AUX input jack. That and the blue lighting on the unit makes it look pretty sweet! Third, the remote that comes with it is very convenient.

I have after market speakers in my car witch work perfectly with this stereo.

The one thing I found funny is there was an option on Amazon to see if it would fit in my car. It asked for my make and modal and said "This unit will not fit in your car". Well, it came in the mail-much faster then expected- the instal was a breeze too do, and hm, it slid rite in with no problem at all. I can even take off and put back on the face plate with no problems.

If you're thinking of buying this modal,it is a good inexpensive car stereo. But with anything, some will hate it, some will not. Do your research. It will make it easier for you when making a finale dissension. Hope this helps.

I bought this after much consideration. I have an older car (Mitsubishi Galant)and had no real desire to spend a lot of cash. The fit was clean, with my only jerry rig being having to glue the plastic surround because the radio was recessed in too deep. The final install was very clean. The radio works great, I've had it in for over six months and it sounds good, with quite a few ncie features. the HD function works well my only wish was there was a way to switch between HD and Analogue as some times when teh reception isn't good it keeps timing out as it tries to link the HD feed. I recall someone complaining the buttons are too small I'm 6'2 and 250lbs and the buttons are fine. When cost is considered this is a winner. If you do buy this radio look into getting a power filter as I do get some engine wine at times.
